Student voices have been rare in the African higher education debates and when heard, at most times, severely inarticulate. This project is aimed at providing a platform for _expression of student voices in East Africa through formal/informal research. Students are invited to share their experiences, hopes and dreams.
67 students drawn from Universities in East Africa have underwritten research projects, and creative pieces on varying topics including; university life, teaching and learning, facilities, peer relations, postgraduate opportunities.
It is hoped that the results of these pieces will play a critical role in informing policy forums of student lives at university, and ultimately feed into the transformation process of East African universities. |
